Parts Manager & Associate Service Writer
Initially brought on as a parts consultant, it became obvious that Dan was a natural fit for our team. With more than 27 years of experience in the mechanical parts industry, both in Canada and in the United States, we were pleased to have him. Prior to joining our team in 2014, Dan managed the parts department of Brim Tractor’s store in south Mount Vernon for 10 years. During that time, he also managed the opening and operation of a Carquest Parts Store with the tractor dealership. His deep experience in the parts field rounds out and compliments our already strong team. Dan lives in Everson with his wife, Marla. They have two adult children.

Zain has recently been accepted into the preliminary studies track for the Vehicle Research Institution at Western Washington University (WWU). He will start his course work at Whatcom Community College and transition over time to the VRP at WWU. Zain was identified by the faculty and his peers at his alma mater, Wyoming Institute of Technology, as especially gifted in this area. He has graciously agreed to come help out on a part-time basis when needed. He has been a “quick study” as a technician and can handle almost anything we throw at him after only a couple years in the practice. His demonstrated ability exceeds some who have been doing automotive repair and service for years and years. Knock ‘em dead, Zain.
It is great to welcome Austin Hummel to the KCA Team! Austin is married to Kimbre, who is an RN with Associates in Family Medicine, here in Bellingham.
Arthur is a second year student at WWU and works with us part-time as an all-around support specialist. He told us he washed more cars in the first two weeks he was on our team than he had his whole life before. He will be our back-up guy on the front counter and help us keep the building and surrounding neighborhood looking good. He grew up in the Warm Beach community near Stanwood, has a younger brother and they were both known as the “go to” guys when a neighbor needed a helping hand and a willing heart.

It is a pleasure to welcome Scott Weaver to the Keith Cox Autobahn Team. Scott is a recent transplant from Seattle where he commuted and worked for Matt’s Import Haven in Clinton on Bainbridge Island for the past several years. With over 18 years of mechanical experience he has developed broad diagnostic skills with exceptional accuracy. Much of his work in the past has been on European automobiles. He is a natural leader and an effective mentor. He was a volunteer fireman for nearly 10 years and served the Gaberville Fire Protection District as Assistant Fire Chief in northern California. He is an avid scuba diver and has a passion for Tango.
Keith opened his business in January of 2001 after 13 years as a partner in a retail and construction management company where he was responsible for general operations. He can be found writing a service order at the front desk or washing a car before sending it out. He lives in Lynden with his wife of over 40 years, Carmielle. They have three grown children and 7 absolutely perfect grandchildren.
